DEAD RINGERS
TOURNEY SET FOR AUGUST 1ST & 2ND
The Dead Ringers
Tourney is back and will be in full force as
this year the Dead Ringers plan to host 16 teams
that will showcase the "B" League Talent from
all across the Chicago-land area.
"This years
tournament already had teams signed up from as
far south as Mt Greenwood." said John Romano, a
long time south-side 16" player.
What will be
nice about this tournament is it is not geared
at the "A" and Major division talent. It will
give those who are younger and up and coming a
chance to show of their skills. What is really
nice is the format which will give player a lot
of games without having to shell out a lot of
cash.
The Dead Ringers
hope to have both Jimmy Walsh (hand) and Jeff
Blackman (knee) back in the line up at full
strength.
The Dead Ringers
also increased their winning streak to 5 in a
row this past Wednesday night. It was in front
of an average size Dead Ringers crowd of 4.
The Dead Ringers
Softball team will take on Tessville this
upcoming Wednesday. A win on Wednesday will
keep their one game lead intact over second
place No Name.
The Dead Ringers
also would like to thank Venom for handing No
Name their second defeat. |
