WALK OFF HR CATAPULTS RINGERS

The entire game the Dead Ringers were trailing then undefeated No Name.

No Name put up 6 runs to open the game.  The Ringers responded with 5 of their own.  The entire game was this see saw of power and momentum.

In the top of the 7th with the score 11-10 in favor of No Name they had a man on 1st with one out.  Short stop Mark Raciti was able to grab a screaming ground ball and start the beginning of a 6 - 4- 3 double play to get the Dead Ringers out of the top and into the bottom of the 7th.

Dan Thorne started the inning off with a hard shot up the middle but was thrown out at 3rd base.  3rd baseman Chris Raciti then took a walk.  Next batter was Dave Fahey who took the count to 3 and 2.  On the pay off pitch he took the pitch and smashed it into the gap.  The No Name right fielder dove and missed the ball, and Dave Fahey was able to come home.  The Ringers went into a frenzy.  "As soon as i saw it leave the bat i knew i had a chance at extra bases.  When the fielder missed it, I knew we were going to win!" said Dave Fahey on his walk off at bat.

The Ringers have The Whoopers next Wednesday who are always capable of putting up big hits....come on out and support your Ringers!
