First game = first win for the hometown Ringers.  Way to go boys but the season is young, the days are long, & the showing at the sponsoring bar was pretty good but I know we can do better.  The car is clean and the cooler full for a action packed summer of softball.  Oh did I say my cooler was full feel free to take the hint anytime my friends.  I don't promote excessive drinking but I do part take in the occasional libations to simmer down my inhuman ability to make right fielders look like little leaguers scampering around the grass on an Easter egg hunt when they were 7.  Oh, did I say that no team-mate should be doing this alone.  It's a rhetorical question I know but this being the beginning of a new season  I will throw caution to the wind and be OBVIOUS!

     It is of course an honor to play w/all you fine fellas and I look forward to our next basting of the unfortunates who will have to play against us.  Stay tuned for my next update on the road as I scout out our future prospects for the draft at CPS' grade school north side 16' tourney.
