Originally from Conroe, Texas, this mid-western grown lad, spent a few years with the boys of Candlelight, in the mid-nineties. After spending the last couple of summers in Japan, honing his skills, he is now ready to return in a big way! Although not gifted with a lot of speed, his cannon-arm and unmatched power should delight the crowds from afar. In the off season, he spends time playing drums and guitar for the Timmy Chang Trio and the Derik Miller Band.

Derik is also very adamant about what he thinks is stupid such as coconut and cilantro! He recently added peeps to this list.....poor peeps, its all downhill from here!
