The Dead Ringers Softball Club The Dead Ringers 16" Softball Club was started in the
summer of 2003. Not knowing the 16" softball world to well we
entered into the Thursday night "A" league in Glenview. After not
winning a single game all season we decided to drop down to the "B"
leagues. We started winning, and in 2006 with the help of the
Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation made our new home league in
Lincolnwood. In the first year in the league we won the
tournament. We have managed to stay in the top 3 spots for the
last four years running. In 2006 Gabriel Adler
started the 1st annual DR Softball Tournament. The tournament was
put on hold for two years before being re-instated in 2009. The
Dead Ringer team has taken a new focus in 2009 to helping build up the
16" softball community. We want to get the youth involved because
right now it is a dying sport. The only way to keep it alive is to
teach the youth and pass the game along.
Some interesting facts
about the Dead Ringers: Mark Tomei is a stunt
double for Peter North (In his own mind...check out his profile)

didnt win a game) In 2006 the Dead Ringers hosted the first annual
Dead Ringers Tournament. (and then we skipped two years) In the
inaugural 2009 debut of Gabriel Adler's Dead Ringer tournament the
Ringers went 2-1 and were the only team to beat the then Champion OBI
softball squad. The Dead
Ringers were inaugural champs in Lincolnwood in 2006
The Dead Ringers were Champions again in 2009
The Dead Ringers went 2-1 in the 2nd Annual Dead Ringers

Good Luck in 2010 - Lets keep 16" Softball strong! Have lots
of fun on the fields!
